Introducing the latest PF1300 stainless-steel pump, from DYNEX, designed to handle up to 15,000 psi (1040 Bar) – the PF1300-20.

The Dynex PF1300 Series is a line of fixed-displacement checkball piston pumps, designed to accommodate water-based fluids.  Made in the USA and ATAX compliant, these aren’t your typical hydraulic pumps. The checkball design provides exceptional durability, volumetric efficiency, and suitability for low-lubricity fluids, and the stainless steel fabrication is particularly valuable in corrosive or harsh environments, including Oil & Gas, Aerospace, Hydraulic Pressing, and Component Testing applications.

Flow & Pressure

• Flow rates range from 1.17 to 5.37 L/m at 1800 rpm
• Up to 15,000 psi (≈ 1,040 bar)

Construction & Materials

• Corrosion-resistant stainless steel design is available, making these pumps highly resilient in harsh environments.
• They use a single-fluid checkball design, which means the pumped fluid lubricates the internal bearings — no separate lubrication circuit is needed. This reduces complexity, risk of cross-contamination, and maintenance.
• The check valves (balls) eliminate the need for a traditional valve plate, leading to less wear and lower risk of scoring.

Rotation & Seal Options

• Bi-directional shaft rotation: no matter which way the shaft turns, the pump provides the same flow direction, which can be useful for flexible system design.
• Shaft options: available in either a standard keyed shaft or an optional spline shaft
• Seal options: available with Fluorocarbon seals; optional EPR (ethylene propylene rubber) seals (for phosphate ester fluids); or Fluorocarbon with a high-pressure shaft seal.

Maintenance & Operation

• Because of the single-fluid design, there’s no need for a separate lubrication circuit, which simplifies system design and reduces maintenance overhead.
• The checkball (ball-and-seat) design contributes to long service life and good volumetric efficiency, especially under high pressure and with low-lubricity fluids.

The PF1300 Series is especially well-suited for:

• Wellhead control systems, including offshore platforms.
• Subsea applications, where durability and corrosion resistance are critical.
• Systems requiring environmentally friendly or fire-resistant fluids, because they can handle water-glycol and other water-based fluids.
