Cribbing is an essential requirement to create a sturdy, elevated, structure that is capable of supporting a heavy load.  This technique involves stacking a group of specially designed, uniform, blocks under the load to ensure stability and safe access to the load.

Hydraulic devices are often used to lift heavy loads and equipment, such as in servicing, rescue, maintenance and construction applications.  For optimal safety of personnel working with or near lifted objects, physical and static supports, such as cribbing, should also be used to maintain load support, as these hydraulic devices are used to lift the load into position.

Uniformity and durability are critical in the use of any type of cribbing material, which should be free from paint, stains or other finishes that reduce the stability of the load.

DURABLE – Turtle cribbing blocks are manufactured from 100% recycled high-density polyethylene (HDPE), which is impervious to water and resistant to corrosion, using a repeatable plastic formulation and manufacturing processes, to ensure superior and consistent quality control.

QUALITY– The Turtle cribbing range has been tested under the guidance of AS1170 to verify the uniformity and load carrying capacity of each product, as well as the quality of the design and manufacturing process.

The ‘G’ Series features a ‘Lincoln Log’ style interlocking mechanism for enhanced stability in stacked applications, with the alternating ‘pyramid’ design facia on each side providing two working surfaces in the one block.
